Touchstone Foundation for the Arts (TFA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to enriching community life through the visual arts. TFA has worked with Touchstone Gallery for more than 12 years. Among its creative activities, TFA has partnered with non-profit organizations such as Miriam’s Kitchen and New Community ArtSpace in Shaw DC to provide space and support to exhibit art.

A founding project is the TFA Emerging Artist Fellowship, which provides emerging artists mentoring, support, and exhibition opportunities at Touchstone Gallery. Current fellows are Brianne Anderson and Neville Barbour. 

The Foundation sponsored a December 2023/January 2024 solo exhibition by Sanah Brown-Bowers, and is supporting upcoming solo exhibitions by Teresa Oaxaca (March 2024) and Ashley Jaye Willams (July 2024), based on an open call for exhibition proposals from DC-area artists, juried by Allison Nance and Tim Wright.
